The regular season is winding down but golf never really takes a break. We will roll right into an action packed playoff run, start the new season just a few weeks later and have a Ryder Cup before you know it.
Sometimes it’s a little overwhelming to look at the calendar and wonder when I’ll “take a break” but your support continues to fuel me. Thank you.

🌡️ Heater SZN
Temperatures are heating up this summer and so are the putters! In back-to-back weeks, we had the two best putting performances of the season.
Two weeks ago, Brian Harman gained 11.35 strokes putting en route to his Claret Jug which was the best putting week by any golfer this season.
That latest a full seven days until Dylan Wu edged him out, gaining 11.51 strokes putting last week at the 3M Open.
Wu made 448’ 11” of putts, which comes out to over 6’ of putts made per hole for 72 holes. 🤯

🤢 Below Expectations
TPC Twin Cities has a way of causing carnage and last week was no different. Of the 32 golfers priced $7,500 or more on DraftKings:
14 failed to make the cut.
13 finished between T13 and T64.
5 finished inside the Top 10.
In terms of DraftKings points gained, it was one of the worst performances of the season for golfers priced $7,500 or more.

🦸 The Pinehurst Papi

🔦 Spotlight: Denny McCarthy

He’s the best player in this field over the last 36 rounds.
He’s the best player in this field over the last 50 rounds.
He’s the second-best player in this field over the last 75 rounds.

🐊 The Ideal Return
Nicholas Lindheim battled a back injury last year that knocked him out of action for over five months. Since his return, he’s been nothing short of spectacular.
He’s played five times, all on the Korn Ferry Tour:
Win - 3rd - T27 - T8 - T8
is that any good?!
