The Course Key Stats model at RickRunGood.com is quite clear when it comes to the CC of Jackson. Strokes Gained Approach and Strokes Gained Putting have both been very highly correlated to success.
Here are the best golfers in the field, over the last 36 rounds, when you add their SGAPP and SGPUTT together. What should we name this stat? SG: Flush & Roll?

💡 Golfer Spotlight: Harrison Endycott
Endycott earned his TOUR card via the Top 50 of the Korn Ferry Tour last season and he’s off to a roaring start. He gained strokes across the board at the Fortinet Championship en route to a T12 finish. The most impressive aspect was the +5.24 strokes on approach which was the 5th best mark in the field.
💡 Golfer Spotlight: Brendon Todd
It’s possible that Brendon Todd is lurking right now. He’s coming off +5.43 strokes on approach, his best total since the 2015 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. If he found something and can combine it with his stellar putting (gains in eight straight), he will have the two biggest stats for this week taken care of.
Those large gains last week led to a T9 but Todd will have to overcome 5 (!!) straight missed cuts in Jackson.
📊 Tip of the Week: Wave Stacking
We might not need it this week, but I just added Wave Stacking functionality to the Custom Model at RickRunGood.com. That means, if you please, you’ll be able to choose how many golfers from each wave that you’d like to play in a single lineup.
Choosing “5 AM/PM” golfers will ensure five golfers with early tee times and one with an afternoon tee time. If you choose “1 AM/PM”, that would represent an afternoon stack which would give you five PM players. Leave it blank if you don’t want to use that feature.

The Projected Ownerships are rolling in and I’d like to offer up some natural pivots, if that’s your thing:
Sahith Theegala (21.7%) to JT Poston (10.3%) — Theegala has gained 1.37 strokes per round over the last 36 to Poston’s 1.31. They’ve been very similar but one comes at half the ownership.
Justin Suh (15.5%) to Aaron Rai (4.8%) — Suh boasts a wSGTOT of +0.25 over the last 36 while Rai nearly triples that at +0.59. Rai has gained across the board during that stretch.
