Man, Jordan Spieth is so hard to figure out this week. I’m looking at the course history, it’s elite. It’s some of the best history at any course for any golfer. But what have you done for me lately?
Since the U.S. Open, Spieth has been rather pedestrian. Here is his Strokes Gained with comps:

Maverick McNealy (24%) to Justin Rose (14%)
Both are reliant on the putter. Both have decent results coming in. Both are in the Top 8 of the betting odds. One has twice the ownership.
Nick Hardy (14%) to Robby Shelton (7.5%)
Shelton’s one weakness (lack of distance off-the-tee) won’t really be a problem here. He’s flashed Top 10 upside twice in his last four starts and he’s a significantly better putter than Hardy.
