This isn’t the first time we’ve seen TPC Potomac on the PGA TOUR Schedule. This course played host to the Quicken Loans National in both 2017 & 2018. Looking back at the leaderboards and it’s a blast from the past!

Looking at those leaderboards, there’s anecdotal evidence that accurate drivers will benefit from the set-up at TPC Potomac. However, no need for anecdotes because the numbers back it up. According to the Key Stats Model on RickRunGood.com, there is no course on the PGA TOUR schedule this year where driving accuracy has been more closely correlated with success. So simply, let’s start with the most accurate drivers over the last 24 rounds:

Abe Is The Ancer
Abe’s recent form has been questionable, I get it. But now he’s projecting to be 10% owned and going to a golf course that should accentuate his strengths. This course, off-the-tee, couldn’t be more different than Vidanta last week. We know he plays well on shorter courses that reward accuracy, so this feels like a “be early” spot.
